The Time to live (TTL) limit is a mechanism that limits the lifespan or lifetime of data in a computer or network.
To change the TTL of your Domain, please login to your dd24 account.
Click on Domains My domains and chose a domain.
In the DNS settings click on the Edit button behind the domain name.
you can change the TTL to 300 sec.
When finished click the Save button.
It is possible to adjust the TTL of a DNS zone to a lower value (300 sec). This can be useful if you want to change the A record and if you want to ensure that this change is published as fast as possible in the DNS.
Please keep in mind to change the TTL value to "300 seconds" at least 24 hours prior to the actual change, since the TTL must be published in the DNS in the first place as well.
